    Description

Two paper 16-page never-used booklets meant to be used for those on the home front to keep track of their loved ones' service records during World War II.
Both were published in 1942 by The Nostrand Press of Jersey City, NJ for the American Legion Auxiliary (Colby, KS Chapter No. 363) but were never put into service for record-keeping, and thus would make for amazing period material for use by a modern-day scrapbooker, junk journaler or ephemera collector.
Both have textured, faux-grain covers. One has an off-white cover and the other has a beige or coffee-colored cover. Inside pages include space to display photos of the servicemen or women and pages to record specific information about the person - including branch of service; age, weight and height at date of entry into service; any transfers while on active duty; record of combat duty; dates of foreign service; locations of furloughs; record of service-related friends; a personal diary; and discharge information.
    Both measure 8" X 11".
