Nymo Thread
Slightly waxed and lightly twisted, this nylon thread is the thread of choice for beadworking & beadweaving. Nymo comes in several different sizes, ranging from “00” (thinnest) to “F” (thickest). The most commonly available sizes of Nymo are 00, 0, B and D. To get the most from the thread strength, use the thickest size that will fit through your beads.
​• Size 00 is 0.13mm in diameter and suitable for the smallest beads or when multiple thread passes are required.
​• Size 0 is 0.15mm and suitable for the same purposes as size 00.
​• Size B is 0.20mm and one of the most commonly used thicknesses. It is suitable for a wide range of stitches and bead sizes.
​• Size D is 0.30mm in diameter and suitable for similar purposes as size B. It is the size that it is used most often.
