I am offering a facsimile (excellent copy) of an original thirty page Jennings Manual titled
“Your
Jennings Chief Machine PARTS CATALOG and SERVICE MANUAL”.
This 1947
publication was printed by the O. D. Jennings and Company shortly after the introduction of their STANDARD CHIEF. It covers most of the
Chief mechanisms made until 1964,
but does not include other numerous castings and cabinet assemblies produced during this era.
There are
eight major sections
with illustrations (photos & diagrams) spread throughout supporting the text.  The ten assembly pages have detailed part lists referenced to their detailed illustrations. Also included is one page with a picture of O. D. Jennings with a
“Personal Message”
, including an open invitation to visit his plant
.
This manual measures 8½” x11” and is c
opied on 20LB bond paper, with 67LB covers, which makes it looks quite authentic. Most of the photos are rather fuzzy but helpful, while the text is small and legible.
